Malaysian cuisine is perhaps a little too familiar, that we often overlook its merits and intricacies. What gives us the sustained passion to step into the kitchen at Terra is the challenge of rediscovering and reinvigorating the cuisine.
We push ourselves to design dishes which make the familiar unfamiliar and vice versa, to renew curiosity in the mundane, casting classics in a new light while stepping out of their shadow. Reckless by design, sacrilegious with intention, our cooking is a deliberate act of destruction to tear down the walls that confine and define Malaysian food.
Yet no matter how we bend the playbook, one bite of our food should slingshot you right back into vivid moments, be it a childhood memory or a long forgotten taste, putting you right back on the ground and reaffirming you with a sense of place. This is unmistakably and uniquely Malaysia.

Much of our creations are inspired by the sheer quality of produce we are blessed with. All this is only made possible by our close working relationship with local producers. They pride themselves not only in the result, but also the work put into realising the potential of every ingredient.
